1985-88
Poultry Marketing Manager and Company Nutritionist to BOCM Silcock. Responsible for marketing strategy for poultry, R&D, product development, campaign planning, literature, advertising and PR and achieving targeted sales volumes and added values.
1988-date
Managing Director of David Filmer Limited, independent poultry and feed consultants. Responsible for developing and marketing “FLOCKMAN” and “Mini-FLOCKMAN ” (electronic equipment for monitoring and controlling growth in intensive poultry houses). Over 300 FLOCKMAN systems sold in the UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the USA, and South Africa. Now concentrating on a simpler low-cost Mini-FLOCKMAN system for bulk sales.
